Happy Valentine's from my little Valentines!

 

I "heart" Valentine's Day!

I am one of what seems like few people who love Valentine's day! It's just all the red and pink colors that scream of love, beautiful, fragrant flowers, and of course, my favorite thing about this holiday....CHOCOLATE! I can't seem to get enough of it. Even better, on Valentine's it usually comes in a box. I don't know what it is about the box, but it makes it taste so much better! Ahhh....<dreaming>. Okay, enough of that! Even in my single days I loved Vday. It could be that growing up, my mom would send me flowers to school that would brighten up my whole week! So maybe she is to blame for my crazy love of Vday? Of course, my husband doesn't help the matter either. He knows how much I love it and usually goes to great lengths trying to make each year special for me.

Last year for Vday, Chris and I decided to go out to dinner then rent a classic love story to watch at home. So of course we googled it (just like we do about everything) and the number one romance movie of all time was? Casablanca! So we lit some candles, Chris made a traditional Vday dessert for us...... chocolate covered strawberries, and we snuggled up to watch our movie! I love low key celebrations like that! I guess it's a good thing, because with a another kiddo added to the mix, we will be spending another low key Vday night in this year too . I'm sure whatever we do, it will be special like always! :)

Just as long as he doesn't forget the CHOCOLATE covered strawberries!
