We had what I would call, "Our Best Christmas Ever" this year. Not because we had more presents (we actually bought less) or went somewhere fun, but because I felt like are lives are in a place we've never been before. Hard to believe but Chris and I are even more in love than we were last year, we have added a beautiful baby girl to our family, we focused more than ever on the true meaning of Christmas, and most importantly our spiritual lives are thriving. We were able to attend a Christmas Eve church service that blew me away, spend time with both sides of our family, and of course eat ourselves sick! :) A little of everything the holidays are truly about!
It was also Miss Gwyneth's first Christmas. She really enjoyed being down on the floor where all the action was. Wrapping paper flying everywhere, new toys that made sounds, and cousins that sat in the floor with her making her feel like a big girl. Cale of course made out like a bandit again this Christmas. Even though we spent less this year, that didn't mean that the grandparents and aunt and uncles did too. Love seeing the excitement and anticipation on his face as he rips through all the paper. Remembering to cherish these years before the pre-teen years are here and he knows most of what he's getting. :)
